Patronato Peninsular (PPPN) is a United Nations affiliated care-giving organization located in Merida, Mexico. With a staff of 28 professionals, we attend to the needs of over 200 children and young adults who have mental or motor handicaps. We have been serving the needs of families who live in the states of Yucatán, Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Veracruz and Quintana Roo for over 40 years, with 15 years officially in our current location.
Every day in Mexico a child is born with cerebral palsy. For every 2 million inhabitants of this country there are 10,000 with some degree of mental deficiency. The needs and challenges are too much for most families to bear alone. Our mission is to provide the technical and moral support these families need.
When you support us, you help a child stay healthy and feel loved. You help us provide the equipment, education and support their family needs to maintain its dignity. Thank you for helping us care for these children.
